This is but a small sample of artist’s signatures, inscriptions, and doodles in the guest-books of Ellen Johnson, assembled while living in Oberlin’s Frank Lloyd Wright designed home. Johnson lived there from 1968 until her death in 1992, and during this time many artists, both well-established and up-and-coming, visited and stayed with her at the house, now known as the Weltzheimer/Johnson House.

The house will be open this Sunday, from 12pm until 5pm, so you can stop by and add your own name (and doodles) to the current guest book. Did we mention that OC students get in for free?

The house will also be open on Saturday, November 12, also from 12pm until 5pm, for Parent’s Weekend
