AMAM @ The Met - Opens Today!
“Side by Side: Oberlin’s Masterworks at the Met” opens today at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Twenty masterworks from the AMAM’s collection will be on view from March 16 through August 29, 2010 in the Met’s galleries before moving on to an exhibition at The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see Oberlin’s art in new contexts and in a new setting. The selection includes America’s two most important paintings by Hendrick ter Brugghen side by side:

Reminder: On Wednesday, March 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm connect with friends and favorite works of art from your college days at a special reception in the Great Hall at the Met. Galleries will be open and recent Oberlin alumni—past student docents at the AMAM—will be on hand to give impromptu tours. More photos of the installation are available on our Facebook page!
